Orlando, Florida, is a wonderful holiday destination and is also one of the best places in the World for family fun. The main pull here is that of the theme parks available and you will find more than one here. You will find Walt Disney World, Sea World Orlando and Universal Orlando Resort all competing to try and secure your custom. This makes for a very interesting mix of offers throughout the year that could help you to find a very competitive price and save yourself some money in the process.

Universal Orlando Resort is home to two theme parks; Universal Studios Florida & Universal Islands of Adventure, so you will be spoilt for choice here. You can buy tickets for more than one theme park as a combination deal and save yourself some money in the process. You may find that tickets are more reasonable than you think, particularly if you book them in advance of your stay.

At Universal Studios Florida you are able to have a real look at what goes on behind the scenes on a movie set while enjoying the sets from some of your favourite Universal Studios films. You will find a production facility here that is home to real working film crews and TV production staff you are often working tirelessly on the next big budget blockbuster. This is absolutely fantastic as you may be able to view some filming of an actual movie taking place while you are behind the scenes which is not an experience you can get often in the World.

If you are looking for some thrills and spills then Universal Islands of Adventure Theme Park is definitely the Theme Park for you. You will be able to ride on some of the most advance rides yet, watch shows and
plays, see carton characters and much much more. There are streets here filled with comic book heroes and you even be able to see your favourite characters walking around on Marvel Super Hero Island. There
are lots of water based rides here which result in a soaked but fun filled day for people of all ages. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is another must see destination here as you will get to explore inside the gates of Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. There are some fantastic rides here as well a the ability to visit the Three Broomsticks for a butter beer which helps to bring this magical place to life all the more.

At Disney World you will find four separate theme parks as well as two water parks so there is much to keep you and your family occupied for days at a time. Booking your Disney tickets in advance will save queuing when you get there too.

The Magic Kingdom is home to many of the Disney characters and if you are travelling here with children do be sure to have an autograph book, a Disney pen and a camera ready to record some memories that
will bring happiness to your child for the rest of their life. You never forget your first cuddle with a Disney character but having a photograph to document the day will make the moment all the more magical. You will find that the Magical Kingdom stretches out for a staggering 107 acres and there are six lands here consisting of Adventureland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, Fantastyland, Tomorrowland and Mainstreet USA.

Animal Kingdom Park is another of the theme parks and is dedicated to Walt Disney’s love of conservation and nature. With over 1,500 animals from over 250 different species there is something here that almost everyone will love and this is the largest animal themed park in the whole of the World which is quite a feat!

In addition to these parks you will find Epcot, home to Future World & World Showcase with shops, restaurants and much more. You will find Hollywood Studios that gives you a real glimpse of Hollywood glamour with live shows, attractions, rides, tours and generally anything related to wealth and opulence in Hollywood. Typhoon Lagoon is another theme park featuring an abundance of water slides, surfing pools, shark reefs and much more. Lastly but not leastly is Blizzard Beach which features one of the largest and tallest water slides in the World. You can pretend that it is the middle of Winter here with the snow castle fountain play area and you can bask in the sunshine at the same time.

If you think about Orlando and decide that while you would love to visit a Disney theme park but the distance is to far then why not consider visiting Disneyland Paris? Located in the suburbs of Paris, France, this may be a more accessible option both budget and transportation while for you and your family as a Disneyland Paris tickets and a short haul flight will be cheaper than visiting Orlando.

In Disneyland Paris you will find a number of Disney themed hotels that only help to add to the excitement that young children will feel while staying here. You will also find a plethora of shops, restaurants, bars, rides,
attractions, shows, Disney characters and much much more with plenty to give the whole family memories that will last forever.

Whichever of the Disney parks you visit you can be sure of an amazing holiday that the whole family will remember for the rest of their lives.
