Just look up…

It funny but when you live in a city you often become oblivous to the amazing things around you that you just end up blanking out or taking for granted.

I always found this with Glasgow, look up at the buildings in the city centre and you get an entirely new perspective of the city and its amazing and often missed architecture. (will post some pics of what I mean in a later posting)

What made me think of this was when I was in the Royal bank of Scotland in Edinburgh yesterday, an entirely functional building, that I walk past everyday to work. However it must house one of the most amazing domes I have ever seen.

I took a picture yesterday because I was so taken aback by its beauty.

Can anyone else relate to this? Are there things in your city that you often ignore because you see them everyday?
